Our Mission

J.E.M Consultant Group Inc was created to fill a void within the community.  Lack of knowledge and resources has led to bad credit, poor budgeting skills, and a fear of entrepreneurship.  We aim to change the narrative and be the bridge that brings awareness to the everyday person.  Our specialists are equipped with the knowledge necessary to guide you along the way.  It is our goal to ensure that every household has the tools and foundation needed to achieve financial freedom and generational wealth.

Marylyne Kernizan
CEO & FOUNDER

Marylyne started off her professional career in property management in 2004. Since then, she has held several managerial positions and has most recently spent the last six years in the personal income tax industry. Marylyne has always been the one giving friends and family financial advice (even if it was unsolicited). From helping with budget building to  goal setting, she has never been one to shy away from sharing her knowledge and expertise.

Marylyne began helping friends and family with credit repair while working to build her own in the process. It was while working with clients to complete their tax returns year after year and having conversations with them that she realized how little people within the community knew about managing their finances and in turn building and leveraging their credit. So many clients were stuck in the paycheck to paycheck cycle. And not only the lower income clients. Six figure earners were stuck paying rent instead of owning their own homes because they had “undesirable” credit scores.  Because of this, she felt a strong need to encourage others in her community to start taking their credit more seriously. It was evident that many people simply lacked the tools and resources needed to achieve their goal of financial wealth and not only establishing, but maintaining positive credit.

It is now her mission to educate others and inspire them to improve their credit one step at a time.
